Dispatch From JetSet Pup: A Dog’s Eye Hotel Review
By Bobbi Potcake
Today I’m sharing a hotel review my big brother Duke and I wrote up of the Hotel Teatro a little while back, when we were still maintaining a Tumblr. Although we live in the Denver area, sometimes we do enjoy spending a night away from our house – and our chiweenie sister, who can just be so noisy!!!
And when we do, we love it when mom books into the luxury Hotel Teatro, because not only are they super dog friendly, but dogs stay free! That’s huge as many hotels either charge a one-time cleaning fee or a nightly fee for us pups, and those can add up.
In downtown Denver’s historic theater district, the Hotel Teatro offers a lot of dog friendly amenities. When we checked in for instance, they were totally ready for us: we each each had a pre-printed dog tag, with our name and the hotel’s address, just in case we got lost. And there was a welcome basket in the room when we arrived.
The hotel, which is popular with the posh pups of visiting celebrities, also arranges all sorts of extras to pamper our canine minds, body and spirit. They will arrange a “Pawdicure” at a nearby pet spa, if you need to get your nails done — I tried to get Duke to do that but he refused. He HATES having his nails done.
And dogs can even get a massage, as the hotel works with a certified canine massage therapist that specializes in therapeutic services for us pups — like massages that assist with circulation and healing and recovery. Pretty much this potcake princess’ favorite way to relax!
